So Alexis starts Kindergarten tomorrow. This is actually a phrase I've heard like 5 times, with people pausing at the end, waiting for my response. I'm like... "Yeah... yeah, she does." And then they laugh and ask me if I feel old...
I totally don't! I think being like the second youngest mom at Back to School Night helped. Haha. But I just see this as something Alexis has been ready for for years. I don't feel older. I don't feel like this is a HUGE deal. I know it'll set some more rules in our lives and things will be more scheduled... but I'm all for it. I'm excited. I have NO worries about her crying for mom, or having "accidents" in class, or not being able to write her name... or anything else the teacher warned us about. I know she's ready. And so am I. =) Maybe... Just maybe... I wont even cry about it. =)

The interesting side of having two kids is when the first one starts kindergarten it's: how did we get here so fast? She's my first born and all that!"
Then when the 2nd one goes: my baby is starting kindergarten! How did we get here so fast?! ;)
Uhg. Especially knowing that the second baby is my last... Yeah, I might cry when Keira starts Kindergarten... It wouldn't be UNLIKE me to do so. =)
