Ideas::::

So the girls rooms in our new house are a fresh canvas to me.
Alexis is old enough to pick her own colors. And she wants bright Pink, Purple, Blue and Green stripes on one wall. Then a Pink wall, a blue wall and a green wall. Luckily her comforter happens to be these colors. And Lowes has that Handy Dandy machine where you can bring in a scrap of cloth or a stuffed animal or in this case a Pillow sham, and they can mix up the exact colors right then and there.

SO. I'm modeling Alexis's room a little off of this:


I'm gonna do the stars- if you can see 'em from this picture... there's stars on the wall that are just a different gloss than the base. And then stripes on one wall and... well we'll just see where it goes...

But for Keiras room! (Since she has no say! Mwuuhahaha) I'm going to paint a base coat of pale pale pink. Then I'm going to paint a tree mural in the corner. And the leaves are going to be cut out of scraps of fabric in mostly pastel colors, and few and far betwwen, think fall time with 15-20 leaves. =) And a cute owl in the tree. And I found the PERFECT bedding for my little idea but it's OUTRAGEOUSLY priced so I'm just going to find something similar.
