ANOTHER house update

We lost the 2 houses we bid on. Unfortunately our price range is the amount that investors seem to want to spend. They're swiping all the good ones and fixing 'em up to re sell. We bid on one more and it's the same floor plan as the very first one we bid on. Just not as clean. Needs paint and carpet and lots of yard work. But that's OK. That's all stuff we can do. We've decided to start bidding on anything in our price range that has a good floor plan. That's the only thing we can't change... anything else we can do ourselves. It's been stressful, and I hate that I fall in love with these houses just to be disappointed a week later. But it's been an experience. I've learned a lot and it's been fun to imagine us living in all these houses. It's funny that the first thing you notice is of course the carpet and paint. But I always look for where the Christmas tree would go. Silly I know. =)
